This kit will make your dryer run quiet again!
This kit was exactly what I needed to restore our Kenmore dryer to as-new decibel levels. The dryer was making a very disconcerting, louder-than-normal rumbling sound. Although the dryer still worked fine, we had to close the door to the utility room because it was so loud.
A few tips:
Before installing the new rollers, clean the roller shafts with a low/non-residue solvent such as MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) or brake cleaner. Do *not* lubricate the shafts before installing the rollers. The roller bearing sleeves are self-lubricating, Oilite-type bearings. Putting oil or grease on the shafts will attract lint over time and gum them up.
Clean any deposits out of the roller channels at the ends of the dryer drum. Use an old screwdriver and/or a wire brush and solvent to clean off any obvious rubber deposits that have transferred from the old rollers to the dryer drum. Also use solvent to clean where the belt goes around the drum.

Not a Whirlpool factory part.
Caution: You will not get the item pictured.
My order was fufilled by "Partshouse". The repair kit sent to me was not the same as what is pictured on this page. It also does not come with the instructions the the Whirlpool kit does.
I am returning this part. I hope I will be able to update this post and tell you that process went alright.
Genuine Whirlpool product, would give 6 stars.
My belt and pully broke after 11 years on my Whirlpool. One of them broke, and it took the other with it. I knew absolutely nothing about dryer internals. Just search on the web, and you will find plenty of videos. The hardest part of the install was taking off and putting on those little triangles that hold on the wheels. Once I gave up on treating them delicately, they went off and on easily. I think it would be very difficult to break one, so just take charge. My dryer used to squeak horribly before, but now it is pretty quiet. I should have changed these parts years ago. Now I know.
This product is for you if you have a lint screen on top in the back right corner, and if the width of the dryer is 29 inches (not the drum width, the top or front panel width).
PROS: everything
CONS: nothing
