Perfect
My switch went on my Dyson and I came to find out that the manufacturer does not supply the switch that turns the Vacuum on. I knew it was a simple fix but after finding out that I had to bring my Vacuum in to have it fixed my quest began to find the part on the internet. This fix would have easily cost me $100.00 if I had relented to bring it to an authorized service rep. Easy enough I found it here on Amazon and this seller was PERFECT! It was the exact item I needed and was shipped fast. I am back in business with my vacuum thanks to Amazon and the seller!
Great product
My Dyson switch went out. Wife tried to make me buy a new $300+ Dyson. Fixed it with no problems and bought boat parts with the money I saved. 1 point for men:)
Five dollars for a new vac. How do you beat that?
Lucky for us there is this affordable option. Well below list price for an item Dyson won't sell you. The switch cover needs a torx head bit to remove it, not a common household tool, but worth springing for when you consider the cost of pro repair. The screw comes out easily enough, but the cover itself is a bit stubborn. Just proceed carefully. Once the cover is off, just pop off the old switch and slide this one on, and you'll be back in business. The configuration of the pieces and wires is typical of Dyson's somewhat non-intuitive construction, but the switch itself is a great value, and installing it is a very easy step in getting your machine back in business. See [...] for a video on the process. There's an ad to start, but this video is very helpful.
