Dirt Devil Vigor Turbo Bagless Upright Vacuum, UD70110

Good suction
This is the fourth Dirt Devil vacuum I've owned now over the past few years. I've stuck with them because they are inexpensive and do the job well. In addition, when I venture into a store nearby that has a huge display of dozens of various vacuums, I am always turned off by the way vacuums seem to be designed now to look like something huge and scarey and straight out of Starwars.

My closet space is at a premium so I go with what is compact. Most vacuums I see are huge bulky things, and the more expensive they are, the bigger and more ungainly they look. To me, modern design is all about making things more compact, but vacuums seem to be going in the opposite direction. I feel it's a marketing gimmick to make them bigger and seemingly more complex, and also more expensive. So Dirt Devil is one company that is bucking that trend.

Powerful lightweight vacuum
I was able to put this together in less than a five min- Very strong vacuum- Picks up everything and even picked up a bunch of coins I ran over on accident and the belt didn't break.. Its very light as well- I would say compared to my other vacuums its a super strong machine- Would be nice for someone who doesn't have room for a big bulkier vacuum

Not good for pets
At first i loved it. It sucked up all the dog hair, and the carpet was CLEAN! But after trying to use it for the third time, it was clogged up really bad with dog hair, and when i would empty the bin it would be stuck at the top of the bin so i would have to stick my hand up and try to grab the hair out so all the dirt would come out. I should of just bought a vaccuum that was for pets. If i didn't have a dog that sheds so much, it would do the job perfectly and i wouldn't have any complaints. So if you have animals i would advise to spend the extra $20 and get a better vaccuum that is set for those needs. I wish i would of!
